Psychiatry Kills Museum Exposes the True History Of Psychiatry

Tuesday, July 26th, 2005

In this article about the psychiatry kills museum tells about the frightful history of psychiatry and it’s brutal “treatments”.

Psychiatry was born out of German psychologist Wilhelm Wundt’s “experimental psychology.” He insisted man was but an animal with no soul. From there it only got worse: From torture-like restraint devices, to horrific brain surgeries like the lobotomy and electric shock treatments, psychiatry has a brutal history of doing nothing but harm to it’s patients

Psychiatric Hospital Busted For Dangerous Use Of Restraints

Sunday, July 24th, 2005

A U.S. Department of Justice investigation has found a Vermont Psychiatric hospital has exposed patients to a significant risk of death or injury with their restraint practices.

The report has said that the hospitals use of a five point restraint “without any guidelines or policies governing its use substantially departs from accepted professional practices, is dangerous, and exposes … patients to a significant risk of death or injury,”

The report also found that the psychiatric hospital failed to provide adequate treatment planning, psychiatric assessments and diagnoses, medication management and discharge planning and placement. So basically it sounds like they simply locked up their patients, restrained them and drugged them.

Not In The Mood? You Might Have A Psychiatric Disorder

Friday, July 22nd, 2005

According to some of the “experts” in psychiatry an insane new disease called “FSD” is a mental disorder that requires treatment with psychiatric drugs.

Those “experts”, backed by the big drug companies, have been pushing the medical establishment to incorporate that sort of standard into a new definition for a condition called “female sexual dysfunction,” or FSD. Of course they have a mountain of medicines ready to treat this new disorder.

In its reference manual, the American Psychiatric Association described FSD as a condition with four different types of disorders: decreased desire, decreased arousal, painful intercourse and difficulty having orgasms.

Man Dies In Psychiatric Hospital After Being Sedated and Restrained

Friday, July 22nd, 2005

The Pennsylvania Health Department and the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare are conducting an investigation on a psychiatric hospital where a man recently died while under treatment.

Apparently Mr. Frank Salini was under “treatment” for Bipolar Disorder when he was physically restrained, placed in isolation and possibly drugged under heavy sedatives. It was during this time that he died under “mysterious” circumstances.

Psychiatric hospitals have a long history of using torture like restraint devices and drugging their patients when they can’t control them. I wonder how many thousands of people have been killed in situations like this.

FDA OKs Electric Shock Brain Implant

Friday, July 15th, 2005

In an insane move today the FDA has officially approved a device that is surgically implanted into a patients body to treat depression. This approval comes despite extreme controversy over whether it’s even been proven to work.

The VNS (Vagus Nerve Stimulator) is implanted into the chest. Wires then snake up the neck to the vagus nerve The device then delivers an electric shock to the Vagus nerve which in turn sends the electric shock to the base of the brain.

The craziest part about the FDA’s approval is that the device itself hasn’t even conclusively been proven to work!

Many In The Media Listening To Tom Cruise’s Message

Saturday, July 9th, 2005

Today the founder of the world’s largest nonprofit web site for non-drug mental health education has published a story supporting Tom Cruise’s view that the official line of the American Psychiatric Association and Big Pharmaceutical company’s are harmful. Further he went on to state that there are literally hundreds of mental health practitioners who agree with him. Drugging, shocking and abusing people is not the answer to mental health.

Also a new ally in Tom’s fight against psychiatric fraud is a British newspaper group who offered him very high praise in exposing the pseudo science of psychiatry.

Children Forced To Use Psychiatric Drugs By Their Schools

Saturday, July 9th, 2005

Hopefully this horrible practice of schools intimidating and forcing parents to drug their children will end soon. Often parents are coerced to put their kids on drugs like prozac and ritalin.

This article on a parent who had to fight hard against her child’s school just to keep her kid of Ritalin is an all too common example.

A bill sponsored by Rep. John Kline, R-Minn., a member of the House Education Committee, would extend the Child Medication Safety Act to include psychotropic drugs such as Prozac, Paxil and Zoloft. This is a much needed extension to the bill which would help bolster parents rights and the human rights of our children.

Tom Cruise’s Comments Stir Intelligent Debate On The Pseudo Science Of Psychiatry

Friday, July 8th, 2005

It looks like Tom Cruise’s high profile celebrity status is causing a debate to begin among the public worldwide. And I say… It’s about time! Well done Tom.

For example, I recently found this interesting discussion on a blog. A post critical of Tom Cruise was made on the blog which sparked a very lively and intelligent debate on the subject of psychiatry, it’s “chemical imbalance” theories and the fact that their drugs don’t work. In fact, in the end, it appears that the person originally critical of Tom’s remarks had a change of heart and decided to actually do some research on the subject.

Antidepressants Now Required To Warn Of Increased Suicide Risk

Tuesday, July 5th, 2005

The U.S. FDA on Friday issued a second warning that people taking antidepressant drugs should be monitored for signs of suicidal thoughts and increasing depression…

This follows a link made between antidepressant use and suicide. And it also follows action taken in March 2004, when the FDA said there was an increased risk of suicidal behavior in adults and children taking these drugs. It has ordered the psychiatric drug manufacturers to place a warning on the labels of all antidepressants detailing those heightened risks.

Tom Cruise Is A Real-Life Hero

Tuesday, July 5th, 2005

I find it interesting that the “objective” main stream media doesn’t seem so objective on the message Tom is putting out. Without even taking a look at the mountains of evidence that show brutality, fraud and mistreatment by psychiatry. The big media immediately seems to buy into the psychiatry’s propaganda and completely miss the whole point.
