Another Person On Antidepressants Becomes A Raving Murderer
How many more incidents like these have to occur before our government will act?
Tonight there is yet another senseless violent attack done by a person who had been taking psychiatric medications for depression. A Man in Brockton Mass. has shot another man four times at close range in front of dozens of witnesses, authorities said.
The victim’s baby girl was covered with blood but uninjured when police found her in a car seat on the floor of the vehicle.
The victim was in the process of getting his infant out of the car when the man, who recently began taking 2 different medications for depression, shot him.
I have personally heard of dozens of cases of people who are taking these antidepressant psychiatric drugs go on a rampage. The vast majority of the kids who shoot up their schools are also on these drugs. These are just the cases that I can remember offhand. I wonder how many hundreds or thousands more exist that never make it into the main stream media?
The FDA has recently began requiring the big drug companies to place a “black box label� on these anti depressants warning that there is a substantial increase in suicide attempts by people taking these drugs. Many groups allege that these drugs also are responsible for causing those taking them to commit senseless violent murder as well.
Two of the most amazing factors about this subject are:
The “chemical imbalance� diseases (like clinical depression) that psychiatrists come up with are simply theories in the first place and are not backed by conclusive scientific evidence.
and…
The psychiatrists don’t really know what the drugs they are prescribing are doing to the brain of the patient.
Next time you hear a commercial for Zoloft… just listen carefully. Even the drug companies will tell you this.
I think it’s time that Congress permanently ban these drugs until four important things can be proven:
1 - Conclusive hard scientific evidence proves that these “chemical imbalances� exist in the first place
2 - The “chemical Imbalance� can be tested for in the patient before prescribing powerful mind altering mediation
3 - Psychiatrists can prove that their drugs actually work in the majority of cases
4 - That they know exactly why and how these drugs work
It’s pretty simple really… just hold them up to the same standards as every other branch of medicine is held to.

I realize it is appropriate to let the judicial process work. I just wanted to send you this link to an online petition for Christopher’s Bill. Christopher Pittman is the child who at the age of 12 years old, and under the influence of both Paxil and Zoloft, took the lives of his grandparents. Christopher has been sentenced to 30 years in an adult prison, and will be sent there this coming April on his 17th birthday. This Bill will help not only Chris but all children caught up in a juvenile justice system that does not support children.

Mandatory sentencing does not take into consideration the past non-violent social history or the effects strong prescription drugs have on young minds. The results are ruined young lives.
